Undergraduates who choose to pursue a bachelor’s degree in mechanical and energy engineering will combine fundamentals of mechanical engineering with a broad specialization on subjects related to energy production, management, and distribution. For graduate students, our programs will offer opportunities to learn fundamental and applied knowledge compatible with mechanical engineering, renewable energy, energy modelling, manufacturing, and fossil fuels. The department also offers engineering technology programs that are based on applications of technology to solve engineering problems. You have Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Engineering Management to choose from. These programs introduce experiential learning activities in virtually every course, and emphasize hands-on laboratory activities with fewer instances requiring the abstract manipulation of mathematics. ETEC graduates are in high demand and work side-by-side with other engineering graduates in a variety of technical fields. Students can also pursue MS in Engineering Technology degree.
